Focus

If we could all just be Canon Powershot Lenses things would just flow so easily right? Unfortunately we are not cameras. We are human beings just trying to get through this thing called life but God forgot to inform us that this thing called life is quite a rollercoaster ride filled with constant ups, downs, turns and twirls and then that untimely moment when you are climbing to the highest point, looking down at how small that amusement park and people look and then you refocus right before the heart-felt drop. NOW that moment is what I want you guys to think about. The moment right before the drop, that focus, that OMG I am about to die moment. That adrenaline will have you only thinking about what is right in front of you and nothing else.

I don’t know about you guys but I need that rollercoaster focus in all aspects of my life right now lol. It is so easy to get distracted, overwhelmed, or just busy in your own being, but understand that even if you fall off track, the bounce back may be just the initiative you need to regain your focus.  If you are a procrastinator like me, and need to be under the pressure before actually getting to what you have to get to…its ok! Because that pressure was needed to get you to focus on the task at hand.

As you get older your priorities change and things that once seemed to mean so much to you don’t and then maybe now some things that you used to put on the back burner actually need a little more attention now a days. Its called Leveling Up, Growing and Glowing, Refocusing, Getting “Up 2 Di Time” in my Vybez Kartel voice.  As we continue to grow I think the key component in anything we do is to stay in that “before drop” moment. Zone in on what you have to do and get it done. Tackle one task at a time, breathe, and understand that you are the captain of your ship. Do not hit the iceberg!! FOCUS!!!
